Customers who place orders online are responsible for the accuracy of their product selection and information entered. Customers who place orders by phone or chat must review their receipt for accuracy within 24 hours.

shoprab.com ships most items via FedEx / UPS in the 48 Contiguous United States (Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico do not apply) free of charge for purchases over $100. There will be additional charges for rush delivery.
In the event no one is home to accept your order, we suggest you send your package to a business address to ensure delivery. Sending your package to a commercial address will also guarantee a speedy arrival.
Some of our products cannot ship via FedEx / UPS ground and must ship via motor freight. Motor freight shall include "curbside delivery" to the shipping address only and shall not include optional services such as transferring the items inside the residence. Any additional services required (inside or white glove delivery) may be provided at an additional charge and must be requested at the time of order.
Items that ship via freight or FedEx / UPS Oversize are not eligible for Free Return.
Tracking Your Order
For your convenience, to track your order, click on the My Account link on the shoprab.com web site and log in. Then simply click on the My orders button and choose the order number to get real time order status.
shoprab.com guarantees all products against all defects for 30 days. If you receive a defective item, we will pay all return shipping on the item and ship an identical replacement to you at no extra charge.
All Warranties will be fulfilled under the RAB Lighting Product Warranty enclosed
RAB Lighting Product Warranties
The following warranties apply to RAB Lighting Inc. ("RAB") products that meet all of the
following conditions: (a) the product was purchased by the contractor or end-user from an
authorized RAB distributor who purchased the product directly from RAB and from no other
source; (b) if the product has been installed, the entire installation was performed by a licensed
electrician or under the supervision of a licensed electrician and the product was in its original,
unopened and new condition at the time of installation. RAB LIGHTING DISCLAIMS ALL
REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO ALL OTHER PRODUCTS,
INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN PURCHASED
FROM ANY PERSON OR ENTITY OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED RAB
DISTRIBUTOR, OR INSTALLED BY ANY PERSON OR ENTITY OTHER THAN A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN, AND ALL PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED OR ARE OTHERWISE NOT IN
THEIR ORIGINAL RAB LIGHTING PACKAGING AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION.
General Product Warranty. Each RAB product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the end-user. Powder Coat paint finish on products other than natural aluminum or brass will not exhibit cracking, peeling, excessive fading or corrosion during the warranty period.
LED Product Warranty. Each RAB LED product will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of five (5) years, except LROAD which is ten (10) years,
from the date of delivery to the end-user including coverage of the following performance
LED Light Output will be maintained above 70% of initial output
LED color temperature will not shift more than 200K in CCT
LED driver will operate within RAB specifications
Fixture finish will not exhibit cracking, peeling, excessive fading or corrosion (excluding
natural aluminum or brass products)
Pole Warranty. Each RAB Pole will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of (1) year from the date of delivery to the end-user. Powder Coat paint finish on products
other than natural aluminum or brass will not exhibit cracking, peeling, excessive fading or
corrosion during the warranty period. Poles must be installed by a properly insured and licensed
contractor using the supplied anchor bolts and mounting templates. The information provided in
the RAB Pole Order Form is critical in determining the location, conditions, intended use, and
other requirements ("Application Specification") with respect to the use and installation of a pole
product. Using a pole product in any manner other than as disclosed in the Application
Specification automatically voids the warranty and may cause failure resulting in injury, death or
significant property damage.
Sensor Warranty. Each RAB Sensor will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for
a period, starting from the date of delivery to the end-user, defined as follows:
Smart Bullet - 10 years
Stealth Sensor - 10 years
Gotcha Sensor - 5 years
Smart Sensors - 5 years
Light Alert LOS1000 - 5 years
Tuff Dome - 5 years
Luminator - 3 years
LED Sensor Lights - LFlood18W with STL360 - 10 years
LED Sensor Lights - LFlood18W with Mini Sensor - 5 years
Exceptions. The above warranties shall not apply and RAB makes no representations or
warranties with respect to:
A. plastic globes and polycarbonate lenses of non-LED fixtures;
B. problems caused by acts of god including without limitation lightning strikes; and
C. problems caused by any improper action or failure to act by any person or entity other than RAB, including without limitation problems caused by improper installation by the buyer, an authorized RAB distributor, or any other person or entity.
D. any housing or arm that are pierced for any reason, including without limitation, piercing
caused by installation of sensors, photocells or any other purpose. The installation must be sealed
properly to maintain water tight operation; any piercing will void the RAB warranty.
E. using or installing a sensor product in any manner other than as disclosed in the RAB
F. use of RAB sensors with Instant Start ballasts; use with Instant Start ballasts will void the
Remedy. RAB's obligations for breach of warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement, at
RAB's option, of any products or parts which prove to be defective, provided that buyer gives
RAB written notice and returns the defective product to RAB in accordance with RAB's return
material authorization (RMA) policies, and RAB confirms the defect. Buyer is responsible for all
costs to de-install defective products and re-install replacement or repaired products and RAB
shall not be liable for labor or other costs related to de-installation or re-installation.
DISCLAIMER. THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF, AND RAB
EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS, GUARANTEES AND
WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED IN FACT OR BY LAW, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE. THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES STATE
RAB'S ENTIRE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY, AND BUYER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS AND ALL PARTS, THEIR DESIGN,
SUITABILITY FOR USE, INSTALLATION AND OPERATION.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. RAB shall not be liable under any theory of relief, including
without limitation breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort (including negligence), strict
liability, or otherwise, arising out of or related to any breach of warranty, any RAB products and
the use thereof, or any other acts or omissions of RAB for: (i) any indirect, incidental, special or
consequential damages, whatsoever (including without limitation, loss of anticipated value of a
business or its reputation) or (ii) any damage or loss in excess of the price actually paid by buyer
to the authorized RAB distributor for the products that caused the damages. Any action by buyer
must be commenced within one year after the cause of action has accrued.
Miscellaneous. These product warranty terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New
York. Buyer consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of New
York. Any legal or equitable claim of any nature arising hereunder shall be filed and maintained
in the state or federal courts in the State of New York and buyer agrees that such courts are a
convenient forum for adjudication. In the event that suit is necessary to recover amounts owed
RAB, buyer shall be liable for reasonable attorney's fees, interest and costs of collection. No
agreement or understanding varying the terms and conditions hereof shall be binding upon RAB
or buyer unless in writing and signed by duly authorized representatives of both parties. These
product warranty terms shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the parties hereto and
their respective successors and assigns.
Manufacturers’ warranties may not apply in all cases, depending on factors such as use of the product,
where the product was purchased, or who you purchased the product from. Please review the warranty
carefully and contact the manufacturer if you have any questions.

We are happy to assist you in the cancellation of any order prior to shipment. Please call our customer support at (516) 479-4189 to request cancellation of your order. We will validate the order status and process your cancellation and refund immediately if able. If your order has already shipped, we will assist you in starting the return process as per the "Standard Return Policy".
Once an order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled, rerouted or redirected. If you would like to return the item, you will need to follow the "Standard Return Policy". Do not refuse the delivery of non-damaged goods as this may result in up to a 50% restocking fee. A delivery refusal may also result in the loss of your product and may void any possibility of a refund. You will also be charged for roundtrip shipping costs.

No Restocking Fees
As Lighting Experts, we understand that sometimes you may not know if the light is going to work in your space until you open the box and see it in person. We want you to be delighted with your purchase the first time, we also want you to be happy when you come back. That's why we have removed restocking fees at shopRab.com. You are only responsible for return shipping on any item not covered under our Risk-Free Returns Policy. Ask your Lighting Expert for details or for assistance when selecting the right lighting for you.
Please note: Returns must be requested within 30 days of receipt. Also, any items returned without authorization, returned to the incorrect location or returned in a damaged or unsellable condition may still be subject to additional fees that will be deducted from your refund or no refund able to be issued.
We offer pre-paid returns on items able to ship via FedEx / UPS within 30 days of receipt from within the 48 Contiguous United States (Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico do not apply). Clearance items and oversize or freight items are excluded from the pre-paid returns offer. To arrange a return:
- Please contact our Customer Support; a return shipping label will be sent to you via email within five business days
- Apply the label to your package and take it to your nearest FedEx / UPS pick-up center
- We strive to refund you as quickly as possible. In most cases, a refund will be issued once the package is received. Returns on larger items or on orders of larger quantities may need to be inspected before a refund is processed.
Returned products must include: all the original packaging, including all papers, parts and associated pieces. The items are to be uninstalled, in new condition and with no clipped wires or missing hardware. If a returned item is determined to be in non-sellable condition, no refund will be issued on that item. You may also be responsible for any return shipping fees.
The following are considered NON-RETURNABLE merchandise:
- Any item that is marked as nonreturnable
- Any custom made or custom-built fixture
- Clearance items, custom quotes, special discounts, and orders of ten or more units
- Any item that is not in resellable condition
- Any item that is not in its original box with the original packaging materials and assembly instructions
- Light bulbs, glass, parts and shades
- Any item without the correct RMA number written on a separate sheet taped to the box
For oversized or freight items, you are responsible for all shipping charges back to our warehouse. You are also responsible for ensuring the shipment and for providing proof of return tracking of the package.
Refunds will be issued upon inspection of the returned item. Per inspection, if the product is in new condition, received in its original packaging, and sent to the correct warehouse, you will be issued the refund you are due, less any applicable fees or handling charges.
If a returned item is determined not to be in "As New" condition, it will be subject to additional fees being deducted from the credit or the credit may be denied completely.
Return requests made outside of this stated policy will be subject to review and may result in shipping and restocking fees depending on the situation. Items returned outside of this policy will be for store credit only as we are unable to refund on items returned outside of the 30-day return policy.
In the event that an item is damaged in transit, we will do everything we can to resolve the matter immediately. When items are shipped by FedEx or UPS, we must contact them within 48 hours to ensure a quick, free of charge resolution. Upon inspecting the merchandise, please contact us by calling (516) 479-4189 or through email, noting what was damaged, so that we can assist you immediately and expedite a new item right away.
For larger items that are shipped via freight carrier, you must check the item on site, and mark any obvious defects on the bill of lading. Once you do so, please call us right away so we can file a claim with the carrier and expedite a replacement immediately.
In the rare event of a manufacturer defect, we again ask you to call our us with a detailed explanation of the problem or issue. One of our Customer Support will instruct you on how to get your item replaced, or get the correct parts expedited to you.
Please note: Photos are required to process most damage claims and we may be unable to process your request without photos. Take a digital photo of the damaged or defective item for your records and e-mail us a copy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Damages or defects reported after 30 days will be subject to review and will be available for replacement only, subject to the manufacturer's warranty.
We reserve the right to charge or invoice you for any item not returned which we have provided prepaid return labels for.
